Volcano Art Center
Volcano Art Center is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1974. Showcasing handcrafted art works by over 230 local artists, this gallery is located inside the Volcano National Park grounds, and its original 1877 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Entrance fees are required to enter the park, so it’s worth spending the whole day here hiking the trails!

Donkey Mill Art Center
A community art center located on the Kona side, this space has an adorable little gift shop within its facility. They offer classes, workshops, and events for students and artists of all levels, and present world-class art and culture exhibits year round. Their ceramics program has a variety of workshops with visiting artists, plus local potters like myself also teach workshops there.

Crown Flower
A charming gift shop located in the historic Holualoa Village, this is also the home of Kona Coffee Totes, where a working studio crafts handmade tote bags and accessories on-site. The boutique also features a carefully curated mix of locally made jewelry, home goods, body care, prints, and original artwork, alongside imported Italian linen clothing.

Surf Camp
Surf Camp in Waimea (Kamuela) is a stylish café and boutique built by a small team of local artists and creatives. What began as an idea has grown into a gathering place — serving coffee, nourishing lunches, and a curated selection of goods in a relaxed, beach-inspired setting. Featuring indoor/outdoor seating and a retail shop worth browsing, coffee is served in ceramic cups made by me, available also for sale.

Perfect Harmony
Located in downtown Hilo, this shop offers clothing, gifts and a tea room in back. Specializing in natural fiber and organic clothing for women, men and children, store offerings also include handcrafted jewelry, textiles, home decor and spiritual items. Inspired by tribal cultures from around the world, along with native peoples of Hawaiʻi, they focus on supporting the continuation of ancient art forms as well as featuring modern creations. My ceramics that are carried here are tea and drink ware focused.

Cunningham Gallery
Both a gallery and frame shop, this special place features many local artists, and offers a wide variety of Hawaiian art, paintings, etchings, lithographs, giclées, printed art, sculptures, and ceramics. Below the gallery is the Picture Frame Shop, which has served the Island Community and beyond for over 42 years. They offer in-house milling of custom frames from local woods, provide art storage, crating, packing and shipping solutions. Their expertise in craftsmanship is the best on the island.
